Hi Pam. Mom and I will be thinking of you on Wednesday. Keep up your fighting spirit and don't give the docs and nurses too hard a time. See ya soon and good luck. Just read all the wonderful guest entries for the past day or so and we add our prayers too. Marilyn
Pam,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you again. Keep fighting. Sandy, Brian, Krista and Megan
Dear Pam, It was so good to see you and Mom in church yesterday. Good you sat close to me to keep watch over my wrong notes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and always, especially Wed. Chocolate cake waiting when you feel like it. Love and Hugs, Barbara and Dick
Keep your positive focus. Your courage is an inspiration to us all. Ann and Ralph
Good luck in your surgery. Our prayers are with you. Bob and Susan Ruffini
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Barb and Russ Godfrey
Pam, I am adding my prayers to so many that are being said for you. Will certainly be thinking of you on Wednesday and praying for you, doctors, nurses, and everyone involved in making your recovery possible. Your strength has shown us all what life can be. Thank you for doing that, even tho I'm sure you'd have passed on that if given the choice! Stay strong. Arlene Bowling
Dear One, This is such an agonizing wait for you but I'm praying for you every step of the way. I'll pray even harder for you on Wednesday. Much Love and God's Blessings, Marilyn
Pam, With all of us praying for you things should go well on Wednesday. No one seems to think you were fuzzy in March including me. I remember you in my prayer daily, but will send a special request to "Headquarters" for Wednesday. Waiting is usually the hardest part of these things. Just rest easy and let your doctor do wonderfull things to make you better. Vivian K
Pam-Our prayers are with you as you undergo more surgery. Don't give the nurses too hard a time! Cousin Betsy
Hello Pam, We've been trying to think of something witty and encouraging, but the words seem to fall short. Just know that we are thinking of you and are confident that you'll pull out of this with flying colors!!! Be a good little patient (we know it ain't easy). All of our love, Ronni and David and the Boys
10/7, Hi Pam, I'm with your other friends in that I don't remember you being confused last March either. It's good that you have to do something each day (tests etc.), to keep you in the present. Rest up, eat good food, and keep up the positive attitude, you'll be strong for your surgery. You are in my prayers Pam, Love Katie S.
Pam....Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Wish we could make those hours till Wednesday pass more quickly for you. Love Helen and Lew
Hi, Pam: Hear you are going for surgery...you know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are all rooting for you! Love, Irma F.
The western end of Pennsylvania in represented for you in our prayers during your upcoming surgery, Pam. We pray that everything will go well. "The Pittsburgh Pastor Bill "
Hi Pam - I miss you already. It was much easier taking care of you than it is to take care of the two boys (and Bob!). Bob and David did very well with my absence. Andy is a bit clingy now, but will be fine, I'm sure. I brought the two boys with me when I went to Barb's today, which gave them time with Mommy, and gave Daddy needed time to himself. Now it is time to tackle the piles of laundry while I watch the NASCAR race. Love, Kat
Pam, So glad you made it to church today. Just want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Will pray especially hard on Wed. You are very brave. God will be with you. Love you, Kathy Clark
Hi Pam, I think about you more than I let you know. Best of luck with the surgery this week. I'm teaching my new co-workers the value of counting down quarter hours to get through the night, not quite down to your 5 min intervals yet. Patty Keith
Hi Pam, Looks like I'm not the only one who is going to go back to your March entries. I never thought your comments rambled either. Extra thoughts & prayers will be coming your way from Marty & me. Love, Connie
Hi Pam, You are amazing! What a positive attitude - I don't know how you do it. I'm sure I'd be spending most of my time feeling sorry for myself. Keep those good thoughts. I'll keep you in my prayers. Tracey
I'm glad you got in to see your neurosurgeon. I don't remember that you rambled in March, but I guess I'll have to go back and check it out. Hang in there with your symptons. Evie Miller
Well, thanks again to Kat for springing me earlier than planned. I got back in time to be there when my grandmother's heart rate went to 170 and her blood pressure dropped to 60 and she got moved to the ICU. I enjoyed visiting, Pam, even though you refused to go bar-hopping with me! Maybe next time? Love, Tammy
Keep up the fighting spirit. We are all going to have to pray a bit harder for you now and send you our positive energy! Just had my chemo treatment #3 today and am planning down time over the weekend once the Decatron wears off. Good news is that the tumor has shrunk from 3 (man's) fingers width to only 1 - after only 2 treatments! Wishing and hoping for the same good news and outcome for you. Love you! your cuz' Laura
10/1 Hang in there Pam. Keep up your fighting spirit. Love, prayers and hugs from Chris M's Mom
10/1 Dear Pam, We're back! Jet lag hasn't caught up with us yet. Left Melissa's at 8:30 AM yessterday and were home at 11:15 PM. Won't have been so bad if we hadn't had to set our watches back 6 hours AND have a 6 1/2 hour layover in Philadelphia! The Netherlands was great. Prayers are still with you. Love, Mernie
Hi Pam. I am thrilled that you are doing better with the seizures. Keep doing better! As always, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Dar
Hi Pam, You'll be ok w the new levels of drugs - mind over matter!! The fact that you had no siezures for 2 1/2 weeks is really great - maybe your system just needs a boost. All of this is still better than surgery so hang in there. Thinking of you.Ronni and David
I"m with Marcie. Relax and enjoy the weather in VA. The further south you stay, the less you may see of Isodore. Evie Miller
What to do next?? I would suggest sitting back and letting Mom cater to you. The weather up here is going to be frightful in the next couple of hours, and you don't want your mother driving in THAT, do you? Seriously, folks- just sit back and relax. You'll get there when you get there. Meanwhile, we'll keep you in our thoughts & prayers. Take care. lolta Marcia G
Hi Pam. Well I see in your guest book someone spent the weekend in Spain. I can boast spending the weekend in East Berlin. What a lovely place with a great little town. (We toured the pharmacy.) We really enjoyed all of it. Every day passed the road to Lake Meade but never got my "driver" to venture down there. Next time. Glad to see you seem to be doing a little better. Scallops with bacon cure lots of things. Hope to see you soon, marilyn
9/25/02 HOORAH for good days! Do you remember Dr. Kirby's saying about plans for nutrition for inpatients? It was: A bar with a permanent sign in the window "Free Beer Tomorrow." Keep saying, "Tomorrow I diet." TODAY keep eating scallop delicacies and lobster and chocolate cake and whatever else the Decadron demands. Enjoy! Viv Bruzzese
9/25-Pam, Sounds like you are on the mend, with less fatigue and some reduction in headaches! Go God! Still praying for you. Evie Miller
9/24 - Hi Pam: Here's hoping and praying for many more "uneventful" days like yesterday! Take care, and hang in there! -Chris
Dear Pam, We spent the weekend in Spain. Emmy & Elly loved the beach and Emmy even tried body surfing. Back to Arnhem now for some day trips while the kids are in school. Home next Monday - 30th. Keep the good days coming. Love, Mernie
Hi Pam. Amazing what a bath in your own tub & a decent night's sleep in your own bed will do. The girls & I were at Missy's yesterday & I was hoping that you would drive by, see the truck again & stop in. Glad to hear that you had a decent day. Hope we can meet again soon for a lunch. Chris, Frank, Janice & Jackie
Glad to hear that you are feeling better. I am in a "good" week myself. Attitude is Everything !! Keep up the good spirits. I hope that you do get to travel up to Pennsylvania for the 29th (which is Nanci's 40th birthday, too). I will be in Gloucester to tease her about getting old like us!! -- your cuz' Laura
Hi Pam, By now Carl has probably told you he was over to our house Saturday night for dinner. Of course he & Marty talked about golf, and what great shots they had on this hole or that one. I think Marty was doing most of the bragging. His team won their class in this past weekend's Ryder tournment. It was really nice to relax and spend some time with Carl. Glad to hear your feeling better. Sounds like you need a Rx for more bubble baths. Love, Connie
9/23 Hi Pam, I'm so glad to hear you had a better day. It does feel like forever when you feel yukky. Now back to one day at a time. The weather is beautiful today, go for a ride in a golf cart. (unless that would be more frustrating than fun.) Have a great day. Love Katie S.
So glad today was a better day - we send our thoughts and prayers that each day is better than the one before! Love ya, Ronni, David, Sean, Jason and Matthew
Congratulations on your good day. It's so good to hear that you are feeling better. Must have been the bath in YOUR tub. S. Ruffini
Hi Pam, it has been a while. Hope you soon get back to your usual self. Allow your body the rest that it needs. My prayers are with you. Dar
Pam, worrying never got anyone anywhere and sleep is good for you. I'll bet your Mom is having a nice relaxing "vacation" with you taking your naps. Gives her some time to herself. So you are actually giving someone a gift, by taking naps! Evie Miller
Hi Pam and Marge. I'm at my fri
